The plate holder accommodates a tripod guide in its moulded groove, so that light on set or in the studio can come from a floor stand. The plate holder is the lowest way to safely install a lamp as close to the floor as possible. At the same time, the plate holder is much more stable than a floor stand and therefore accident-proof. The holder slides snugly into the groove and is secured by integrated magnets.
